For five years, I stepped back from office work to do something I should have kept doing all along — build things.
 

I studied Industrial Design Engineering, spent time in a corporate career and then life shifted. Our second daughter arrived during the pandemic, and it became clear that someone needed to be at home. So I took a career break. My partner continued her career, I took on the full-time parent role, and the house got renovated in the gaps between.

I could have waited until we had the budget to hire professionals. Instead I picked up the tools myself, figured things out as I went, and somewhere along the way built something I'm genuinely proud of. This is where I've documented it.
